OVERVIEW

Y'all Sweet Tea released a limited-edition lemonade, and it needed visuals as bright and sunny as the product. We handled the visual design, creating product imagery that captures the flavor and the season in a single frame.

WHAT WE DID

We staged the pouch and a glass of lemonade on a clean pedestal surrounded by grass, spring flowers, open sky and floating lemon slices. The bold red and yellow packaging stays the focal point, while the scene around it communicates fresh, sweet and refreshing.

Deliverables: visual design and branded product imagery for the limited-edition lemonade.

OUTCOME

The result is a cheerful, eye-catching visual that feels true to the Y'all Sweet Tea brand and gives the limited edition a look all its own.

“As a small business, every single dollar spent is very important to us, so selecting the agency that we work with is not only important for the money that we pay them and the money that they spend on our behalf, but also the risk of hiring an outside agency versus doing the work in-house. I met the Brotherdale team (Hunter and Marcus) in 2021 and spoke with them for about 30 minutes and knew they were legit. We didn’t begin working with them until about a year later because at the time we were transitioning between two different agencies and honestly had such a sour taste in our mouth that we didn’t want to work with another agency. Once we spoke to them and I heard and saw what they were doing, what their plans for the future were, how dedicated they were to their clients and the attention to detail, I was sold.

What they didn’t tell us was how much they would become an extended piece of our team. They are plenty capable and have the green light to make decisions on their own on our behalf without getting permission, although they prioritize making sure that we see and approve everything because they don’t want anything up on the website, ads or social posts that isn’t perfect.

The last thing that I’ll say is we have done shoots that range from 1 to 2 photographers all the way up to 7 to 8 people on site working from Brotherdale’s team. It’s so impressive to see how cohesively they work together, and no one ever slacks off while they’re working, and none of the employees are ever on their cell phone. In that line of work, where you’re always holding your phone or holding a camera, it’s easy to slack off, pick up your phone and check Instagram, take a quick phone call, etc., and I have never seen that happen in years of working with them.”
